Sound-Absorbing Panel Installation Procedure

Proper preparation is crucial before installing sound-absorbing panels. First, measure the installation area to ensure the panels fit perfectly. Next, check the flatness of the wall or ceiling, sanding or filling surfaces as necessary. Gather the required tools, such as a power drill, level, and adhesive. Finally, ensure the workspace is well-ventilated to prevent dust from compromising installation quality.

 

Marking Positions: Use a level and pencil to mark the installation locations on the wall or ceiling, ensuring the panels will be aligned neatly.

Applying Adhesive: Apply the specialized adhesive evenly to the back of the sound-absorbing panel; avoid using excessive amounts to prevent unsightly overflow.

Securing the Panels: Align the panel with the marked position, press gently, and hold briefly to ensure a firm bond. If additional security is required, use screws or nails to reinforce the installation.

 

After installation, periodically check the adhesion of the panels to prevent detachment caused by environmental changes. Clean the panels by gently wiping them with a soft cloth; avoid chemical cleaners that could damage the surface material. Promptly replace or repair any localized damage to maintain optimal sound-absorbing performance.
